Biography:
Ayesha is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), primarily known for her role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. She is the golden-skinned High Priestess of the Sovereign, a genetically engineered race obsessed with maintaining their "perfect" genetic purity.
Ayesha first appeared in the post-credit scene of Guardians of the Galaxy when the Guardians were delivered to her to claim as payment for the services that they rendered to her people. Her arrogance and disdain for those she deems inferior drive her actions throughout the film and, indirectly, lead to the creation of Adam Warlock.
Her motivations are primarily fueled by a desire for revenge against the Guardians after Rocket Raccoon steals valuable batteries from the Sovereign. She dedicates her resources to hunting them down, showcasing her ruthless determination.
